COVID Updates 5.25

Good Afternoon Families and Friends,

On Monday, May 17, Governor Pritzker announced that the State of Illinois will align with CDC face covering requirements. We are excited to see this step closer to normalcy and look forward to seeing your smiling faces. While we continue to monitor new State and local guidelines, we will provide services with an abundance of caution. Please note that masks are still required at NEDSRA’s facilities and in-door programs. We will wait for more information and will update you as changes develop. In the meantime, NEDSRA will be making the below updates for face coverings.

NEDSRA Mask Requirements:
  1. Masks and social distancing at all programs

  2. Masks may be removed outdoors when social distancing can be practiced

  3. Internally, masks and distancing are optional for fully-vaccinated staff in administrative areas of the office

PLEASE CONTINUE TO CHECK OUR WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA FOR UPDATES.

More information about the Restore Illinois Plan can be found online at www.dph.illinois.gov/restore.

We continue to monitor local and regional agencies for guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Park District Risk Management Agency (PDRMA), and DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) and rely on their expertise and recommendations to continue to inform you of our decisions. Individuals should continue to follow public health guidelines (social distancing and wearing of face coverings).

If you have questions please do not hesitate to call or email us and we can help clarify.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please be safe.

Thank You, NEDSRA
