Special Olympics Track & Field Meet

Each May, NEDSRA brings together more than 200 athletes and 250 volunteers at our local Special Olympics Track & Field Meet. On this extraordinary day, individuals of all ages with a developmental disability compete in the 50 meter dash, the 200 meter dash, the 400 meter relay, standing long jump and softball throw. Festivities and entertainment are part of each year’s competition, and every athlete goes home a winner. Plus, participation in the event is free, thanks to our generous sponsors.
