Boosters Supporting NEDSRA's Special Olympics Sports
Athletes who train for and compete in Special Olympics (SO) sports gain self-confidence, pride, heightened physical skills and a sense of accomplishment. Thanks to the Booster Club Supporting NEDSRA’s
Special Olympics Sports, our athletes have access to the training, equipment, transportation, and competitions that will help them achieve their Special Olympics dreams.
Booster Club members provide volunteers for training programs and special events, and sponsor fundraisers to purchase items such as warm-up jackets and sports bags for the athletes. Through its fundraising
efforts, the Booster Club also sponsors the Annual Sports Banquet, Bocce Tournament, as well as picnics, parties and treats throughout the year. Together, staff and Boosters instill pride, spirit, and camaraderie
in all NEDSRA Special Olympics athletes, families, and friends.

NEDSRA Wheelchair Sports Parent Booster Club
The Wheelchair Sports Parent Booster Club was established in 1999 to help provide additional sources of funding for costs incurred by the teams for tournaments, local events, travel, uniforms and team apparel and other such expenses that might be incurred by an athlete or their family. Some of the adaptive sports which might benefit from the support of the Boosters include: wheelchair basketball, track & field, and boccia. NEDSRA very much appreciates the efforts put forth by these parents and encourage your continued support of their activities. For information on how you can support the Wheelchair Sports Parent Booster Club, contact Adam Kramer, Recreation Specialist, 630-620-4500, ext. 137.
