Afterschool
NEDSRA
targets specific schools and classrooms each season to offer an after-school
program for students in self-contained special education classes.
The focus of each program is leisure education and community integration.
The students enjoy various community outings with friends from their
own school, or meet new students from a different school. The after-school
programs expose students to community resources and provide a safe
environment for students to develop social skills and independence.
